Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Nothing works!

My son has been so fussy and has been crying on and off for the past 10 days. Luckily he's been sleep great throughout the nights. I have no idea what is going on. I feed him, change him, hold him, take his temperature, play with him and sooth him and nothing works. I even took him to the pediatrician yesterday and there is nothing wrong with him. He's not teething, it's not gas, his ears, nose and throat are all perfect. The pediatrician thinks that hes just sinply having a bad week or it's a growth spurt. He usually falls asleep in the car but i can't constantly keep him in the car. I don't know what else to do? This is not like him. Any thoughts?

what is that? I looked online but it says I have to purchase DVDs or books. Have you tried it?

I think he's too old for the 5 Ss. It worked when he was younger. He no longer likes to be swaddled, we stopped swaddling him when he was 2 and half months old. He'll be 4 months old next week. He also hates the pacifier, he spits it out. He doesn't like being swayed either because he only likes to be held sitting up. Thanks though :-)

  • *Lurking*   Has the doctor mentioned anything about being colic-y? It wouldn't hurt to try the Colic Tabs made by Hylands that you can find in any drug store or even a chain like Walmart. They dissolve in liquid, so you can put them in a bottle. Research them online, but I used them for a short period of time with my DD and they seemed to work wonders. It couldn't hurt, because they are "natural" and not necessarily a medicine.
