OMG!  I'd be "hiding" some people, or heck unfriending, if I were you!  I don't always get people's humor, but I'm not going to go around calling them bad parents or whatever just because I don't see the humor in something.  Geez, people really need to get a grip sometimes.

Hmm...my response is usually to not engage, and then promptly delete those kinds of people from my friends list or block them from seeing my posts.

Why try to change crazy?   It doesn't ever end well...

A small confession: I have DD'd a fb post before, just to end the drama when people got out of hand. I don't regret it, people are stupid and need shut down. Truth.

Yeah, I deleted her after I messaged her. 

 

She sent one last comment. I had to message her because I am beyond frustrated. BUT she is deleted.

This was her last comment after I said I didn't understand what she was talking about.

Yes I have seen many pics on that website and laughed HARD....my statements have 0, nota, nothing to do with the LINK!! Hello? all I can say to YOU, not anybody else, is GOD gave you your child to protect. If you don't know what is dangerous and NOT...then at least I tried to help ya. And my posting on your POST....has been long time coming.....FB is forever when you post things and pictures. If you don't know right from wrong....it's too late for me to teach ya. She obviously has a problem with something you've posted on FB in the past... though you'll probably never know WHAT exactly. That's the only thing I can come up with based on her vague and bizarre references, and statements like "FB is forever." What a nutcase.

I posted a picture of Emma with a spatula in her mouth and the caption was "kitchen things are far more fun than toys" that's where I think her comment about whisks and stuff come from. (it's in the first post I made about this).

That is ridiculous. A spatula is not dangerous. It's not like you're letting her play with a pot of boiling water. The baby "play" e-mails I have been getting actually recommend letting LO play with pots/pans and kitchen stuff to bang on them with at this age. 

I would probably un-friend her and Cliff and send her a semi-nasty message to her inbox re: her ignorance and cattiness and publicly shaming you.

She would not like me then. LO has an entire basket full of 'non-toy' toys that he plays with on a regular basis. I put it together for him based on a well-researched and widely used theory on learning through play. There is nothing wrong with playing with a spatula!

I wish I could pip from my phone. It's my child holding a pill bottle. I was trying to take her pic on the front porch without her jumping off the step. I just grabbed something from my purse for her to hold. It was my rx bottle. I took the pic and took away the bottle. but in the pic you can see it in her little hand, now Janet would skin me alive.

I let Aria play with my mascara tube when I have to sit her down to use the bathroom. Probably not the best choice, but at least I get to go without her trying to climb into my lap. No flames here.

I let the girls play with the bottle of their liquid Zantac while I change their diapers because it's the only thing that will make them hold still.  I don't normally let them play with it and their eyes light up when I hand it over.  It's like the Forbidden Fruit

Okay, so here is what I figured out.

 

I posted a picture a while ago of Emma looking at the fireplace. It's a fire place that plug into the wall, it's not real flames and the heat comes out of a vent on top. We closed the vent once we realized that she loved it so much. I obviously didn't clarify this when I posted the picture. So THAT is what she is talking about when she says "parking my kids in front of the fire place" It took me forever before I realized what she was talking about. 

ANNNND the Spatula thing...After I posted the picture someone said "whisks are great too." She must have thought that Emma was holding a whisk because her hand was blurry from moving so I guess she thought that there was a battery powered whisk in her hand..?!  Who knows. The only reason I felt the need to battle the crazy, is because I know her IRL. She isn't some random stranger from TB...She was calling my daughter's safety into question for all my friends to see. I had to put this crazy Biz in her place. Which I successfully did.  She even tried to post a funny picture on my wall. I deleted it and her. She is nutso.
