New to The Bump

TTC and frustrated!

Hi everyone, I've posted on one or two boards, but I thought I'd formally introduce myself. I'm Bri, I live in CT and my husband and I have been trying for a while to conceive, but we're still waiting.... Starting to get seriously concerned and frustrated, and highly disappointed each month.... BUT... still keeping a sense of humor and having fun the best we can!

 Just wanted to say hello!

Male infertility issues (husband had poor SA), combined with former cervical cancer and subsequent treatment which has resulted in scar tissue and modified cervix. MY INFERTILITY BLOG http://tocarryseeds.wordpress.com/

Re: TTC and frustrated!

  • I also have the same questions as PP....how long have you been TTC and are you charting?

It totally depends on the couple as to how quickly they can conceive, MH and I have been going for 9 months with not one BFP and that's not even that long compared to a lot of women here on TB who having been TTC for a year or more.

Charting helps a ton. This is my first month doing it. It helps you to get to know your body. You can figure out when you ovulate and the best time for BD. it will help you feel like you're doing something. GL

  • Welcome.
How long have you been trying? Have either of you been tested for infertility or even have your DH get a SA?

  • Hey guys.... we've been trying for a while.... we have "complications" already because I had cervical cancer and issues with that. So scar tissue, etc. We are currently in the process of getting the hubby tested because I am clearly ovulating. But my scar tissue may be a big factor and an obstacle to his sperm - so his swimmers have to be like SERIOUSLY strong! Otherwise my doc said we may need to skip to putting the sperm up in there!

  • Welcome!

Are you charting? This can help in the TTC process.
