Cramping (? from 3rd tri)

I usually roll my eyes at questions like this, but I'm going to ask anyway. I will be 37 weeks on Saturday. Yesterday and today I have been feeling really crampy and have had pressure in my rectum since Tuesday. I never experienced this with DS. This pregnancy has been so different. I had the sharp vag pains but never the other stuff. I was 3 cm for 3 weeks, my water broke on it's own, and he was born at 39 weeks exactly. This time, I am 1 cm and 50%. I guess I'm just curious if anyone else felt this way leading up to labor?
