When it rains...

It POURS. Worst week...

Thurs- Friends brother jumps off bridge and dies...he was 28.

Fri- Rush DH to ER, he has emergency appendectomy. He's doing great now but can't lift the kids so we are both off of work.

Sat- My 31 yr old neighbor has a heart attack. Skinny mom of 4, very healthy. The sad part is that after she called 911, she banged on my door to get me to watch her kids and I didnt hear her! I was upstairs bathing the kids and our doorbell is broken. I feel TERRIBLE! SIL gets in a car accident same day.

Monday- We find out DH's grandma has ovarian cancer and it has spread to her liver.

So, yeah. Thats our life right now. What should I bring to neighbor for dinner?? Needs to be very kid friendly...I was thinking tatertot casserole but can I make that ahead of time?

    That is an awful week.  Sorry for the loss of your friend's brother :(  Tatertot casserole sounds awesome and I'm sure she'll appreciate it!

    I sure hope the rest of your week gets better. That's a lot on your plate. What about some chicken nuggets? Or mac and cheese?

    Gosh, I'm so sorry!  T&Ps to your friends and family members.  How about picking up a pizza?  My kid would eat that every day of the week.
