Time to share-- what are the craziest baby products you've seen?
I just ran across this stroller called the Origami. It's the "world?s first power-folding stroller: at the touch of a button, it folds itself. It?s also the world?s first cell phone-charging, mileage-counting, LCD-sporting stroller, with generators in the rear wheels that charge the stroller as you walk. Plus, the Origami has daytime running lights, pathway lights for low-light conditions, and sensors that detect when a child?s in the seat (so it?ll never fold by accident). From power folding to cell phone charging, it?s everything a stroller should be."
All for the very low price of $850! I mean really.. the idea is interesting, but can people not be bothered to fold their stroller up?

Re: Most ridiculous baby products
LOL I mean I think the idea of it is cool I guess... but just the fact that it's $850 makes it unappealing.
Oh and here's a clicky for the daddle-- too funny!

A helmet and knee pads for your baby. Just stupid.

Most ridiculous I've seen are those metal frames you can snap a carseat into. So that you can pull your kid, in their carseat, through the airport, like a suitcase. I laughed so loud when my sister sent me a pic of those when I was preggers. Sorry on my phone so I can't add a link.

Omg..all of these are pee-my-pants funny. Though I kinda like the stroller idea, too. I still laugh at the ridiculousness of it, but I definitely wouldn't turn one away if it knocked on my door.
Again, I believe this is ridiculous, would never purchase one, and I laugh at how stupid it is, but the daddle makes sense to me. Don't shoot! I say this because I put DD on my back a lot as she is always hanging on me and finds her way back there so eventually she gets a ride or a bounce and it's a pain int he butt to hold her. Again, would never buy one, would laugh at someone who did, but I understand it.
The one thing that is a no-no to me is the pads for kids that mbgreen posted. Gotta let my kid be a kid and rough up those knees and hands.
I'll come back when I think of something baby related that is so dumb. There are lots out there...
This is the worst that I've seen: a baby swim collar
The thong reminded me of these dumb things:

I have to say that I kinda liked the ride on vacuum for kids. DS loves trying to sit on mine while I vacuum...lol!
However the birthing dolls for explaining the birds and the bees is my fav so far!
