Leaky diapers...

I have a 2 1/2 week old baby boy and we have a leaky diapers situation!  He is in newborn sizes but almost half the time he pees it ends up on whoever is holding him.  Can't figure it out.  And recently I had a few leak poopy as well!  Am I doing something wrong here?  I try to make the diapers nice and snug.  Even tried different brands.  Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?  Thanks!

Check and make sure the elastics around the legs are turned out, so they're against his thighs. Make sure his penis is pointing down. And try a bigger size if you're already doing those things.

We had the same problem until we learned that we had to turn his pee pee down. Try that and depending on his size, go up or down in his diaper size. If he is a small newborn, a preemie diaper may work.

He's an 8lb 3oz - er.  Definitely don't need preemie diapers.  Starting to wonder if I need a size up now.  And try point his penis down if it will stay that way.

use size 1, elastic around the legs outward, and pee pee down!

We had the same problem when we switched from pampers to Huggies. We had the snugglers kind from Huggies and the cut out for the belly button it was to low for my son and he leaked out of it 50 of the time. So frustrating. We decided not to buy those again!!

I was going to say the same thing....
