Do you NIP without a pillow? I still can't do it, and it's so frustrating. I'd so much rather offer my boobs than the bottle when we're out, but I'm too uncoordinated and I can't for the life of me nurse my LO without a pillow.   He's still kind of little for three months - only 11 pounds - but holding him up is tough on my arms.  Does anyone have any tips, possibly? Thanks!

I recline a little by scooting forward in my seat.  Then rest K on my belly.  

I've also had good luck nursing in my ring sling in public.  It helps take some of the weight off.

Maybe practice at home with out a pillow so that you get better in public?? I just bought a bobby pillow last week only to use for lo to sit in.  I tried it out for bf and started laughing that I could nurse with out any hands!! Why did i not buy one of these sooner!!

If I have to nurse outside of my house I usually will go into a bathroom stall and just nurse standing.... for some reason it urks me to sit on the toilet with my pants up lol  I do not feel comfortable sitting on a bench in public yet

I pretty much do what nellrose does. He ends up laying at an angle rather than completely sideways. Since his bottom is supported by my leg/thigh and the elbow crook has his head I usually have a free arm. I think it's actually easier now that he is bigger.

I've never used a pillow. I just lay her along my arm with her head resting in the crook of my arm. Sometimes I even walk around a bit while she's nursing and I just hold her in this position. I'm sure that's going to get really difficult though the heavier she gets!
