What to do with samples?

I have about 5 different cans of samples for formula that we won't use since she tolerating what we are using very well. I don't want them to go to waste. Would a food bank or women's shelter take them?

Also wanted to say thank you all for patting my back and encouraging me when I was in freak out mode just after LO came home. She is back up to her birth weight and she is looking so much better, I am just not producing enough breast milk and she wasn't getting enough supplement because I though she was getting more bm. We are switching her to formula because it is just easier to see she is getting all she needs to eat and being born at 5 pounds she needs every bit of it. But, thanks everyone.

You could always call the food bank or shelter...I know as new mom you don't have that kind of time, but maybe a friend or family member could look into that for you.

Do you have a friend/co-worker who might want the sample?

I plan on giving it to a food bank.  I'm sure it's not something they stock regularly but they'd probably know of a family that goes in that could use it.

I gave mine to a local church that has daycare for low income families.

Gosh, I didn't think of a food pantry!! We sold five sample cans on Craigslist for 30.
