Lovenox side effects anyone?

I'm due to see my doctor tomorrow. I was put on Lovenox 2 weeks ago as I am MTHFR homozygous. I haven't been experiencing any side effects until this evening and I may freak out. After going to the bathroom, I had brownish red on the tp after I whipped. Then the next time i went, it was red. I have no cramps, no mc symptoms. I know that Lovenox is a blood thinner and if you are getting too much bleeding is a side effect. But after 3 losses I am so nervous. My husband is telling me to not freak out and wait til I go to the doctor tomorrow. But we all know how that goes. I should be about 5/6 weeks along. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

I am on lovenox and have occasionally had spotting after using the bathroom.  The first time it happened I just knew this pregnancy was over and grieved all night.  The next day I had my first u/s and was shocked to see that all was well.  We are now at over 12 weeks and still going strong (can't help but to still knock on wood with that!)  I know it is so incredibly difficult, but hang in there and hopefully all will be well.

I had spotting on lovenox from a few days after a started and lasted about a week. I asked my doctor and she said since its blood thinner and your body is doing crazy things right now it can cause some irritation and  bleeding. As long as your not passing clots or cramping heavily you should be fine.

I used lovenox until 12 weeks and didn't have any issues, although the crinone did cause me anxiety and irritation. It can be a side effect of any heparin injection but also spotting early in pregnancy isn't always a bad sign and happens frequently. They won't be able to see much at 5/6 weeks so don't expect a ton, but hopefully they can put your mind at ease. T&Ps that it is nothing!

Thank you ladies for your comments. I went to the doctor this afternoon and could make out my little bean's heartbeat!! I am six weeks along, the dr thinks. It's alittle difficult because we couldn't get a good angle and my sac was not an oval. He did see some blood built in there but he said that should clear out on it's own. He wants me to keep going on my Lovenox injections and I'm not to do any physical activity until he clears me. I go back next Thursday. So fingers crossed!!!

Just wanted to say I had some bright red bleeding at around 6 week that my doctor said was probably a combo of the crinone irritating my cervix and the lovenox causing some more bleeding than normal. He told me to keep my feet up for the next two days and not to do any exercise or physical activity.

I havent had any bleeding since.

So happy everything went well for you! I have been on lovenox since 3 days before my missed period and I am just over 35 weeks now. It has literally been a life saver for our little guy. Our maternal fetal specialist said some spotting throughout your pregnancy on lovenox is normal. Good luck and keep us posted!
