pls disregard - double post

Hi,

My son is 10 months old and isn't very vocal.  He squeals in delight and makes cooing sounds, but has never vocalized a consonant.  I highly doubt he'll babble by 12 months.  The pediatrician suggests that he's slow, but that he is still too young to be overly worried about this.  It was suggested that I pick up the book It Takes Two to Talk.  I see that there is also a DVD available.  Frankly, I think I'd rather just watch the DVD.  Anyone know if they cover the same techniques, or are the complimentary (in which case I might get both)?  TIA
