Twingy pain after CS?

I had my second CS three weeks ago and I did have some cellulitis but its gone as of last week...I do however have lots of twingy pain on the lower right area...around my incision but maybe a tad above.   I also feel like someone took a baseball bat to me between my belly button and the incision.  Oh and I def am getting lightheaded here and there...I mentioned this minus the lightheadedness to the doc last week and she said it was a healing.  I just didn't have this with DS so I'm paranoid.

  • I forgot to add that if I wasn't needing to drive I would still be taking the Vicodin

  • I feel like I had some twingy pain, but I honestly can't remember.  I didn't have too much pain after my C/S at all.  I would repost this ont he c-section board.

  • I had pain, and was told it was the nerve endings coming back. As for the lightheadedness, I'd talk to your doctor. Thats not normal!

This. I felt okay to go without vicodin at around 1.5 to 2 wPP. I was of course taking the ibuprofen to help with inflamation up to 3w though. Although, I know everyone is different and others may heal faster than others.

Regarding the PP pain, I had the twinges and tenderness until about 5wPP, but could walk and get around great. Sometimes I had to stop myself to not over-do it. Around 7wPP was when I felt completely back to normal. No tenderness, I could lift things, the only thing I still notice to this day is a numb area surrounding my incision. I have heard this can last up to a year though.

Oh, the lightheadedness (is that a word? haha) doesnt sound normal to me and I agree about asking your dr. I dont rememeber having that except for on 1 day PP when I got up out of the bed for the first time.

Lastly, the csection board is great for questions regarding your surgery. Ive used it many times!
