Big Appointment Today

Hey Ladies,

 I will go for my big scan today and get results from my blood work...I am confident everything will be fine as little Cole has not stopped moving at all this morning. ;)We all know how pgal brain is though. Any thoughts and prayers you can send my way would be appriciated.

Oh and for you ladies that have had your 18-20 week scans what all do they check for besides his organs, growth, etc?  It's been 4 years since I had to worry about this part of pregnancy...

    I'll try and remember all that she looked at..

    cervix, ovaries, placenta, bladder, kidneys, heart (4 chambers and that everything is connected to what it is supposed to), face, leg length (I don't recall her measuring LO head to toe or anything), head circumference, and she checked the sex (which obviously isn't the important part). I'm sure there's something else I'm forgetting. She spent the most time looking at the heart to make sure it was working properly and connected to certain arteries. The scan for me was pretty quick.. maybe 20-30 minutes.

    That is pretty much what they looked for today and mine lasted about the same 20-30 min.

    Thanks for all the T&P's ladies...Scan went great...baby looks great...Still a sweet baby boy.. :) ..There were a few things she couldn't check because of the way he was laying but for the most part he is seems to be healthy and growing right on target. He was extra "busy" today...I don't think he was ever really still the whole time...

    I have gained 6 lb's in 19 weeks and the dr. doesn't seem concerned so I guess I shouldn't be. I go back in 4 weeks for my 1 hour sugar test...I had gest. diabetes with my first pregnany so the sugar test makes me really nervous. :/

    Anyway...Thanks again...just wanted to update you wonderful ladies.
