*Soak a cotton ball in essential oil and then pop it in your vacuum bag. It freshens the air as you sweep.
*I kept forgetting to start the rice in time for dinner so I bought instant rice, which is expensive. So I started buying rice and beans in the bulk bin (or by the bag) and cooking up big batches. Then I portion them out into baggies and freeze. Freeze them flat and then you can stack or stand them up however you need and they don't take up a lot of room at all. 1 1/2 cups = 1 can of beans.
I did this Sunday with Cannellini beans. I got 7 cans worth of organic beans for less than $3. That would have cost me over $8 if I bought them canned.
ETA: I forgot to say that it really doesn't take any time at all. Soak them over night and then simmer for a couple of hours. Or pop them in the crock pot and you don't even have to be home. (red beans need boiled first)

Im out of toilet bowl cleaner and it needed cleaned bad. I used the mold/mildew cleaner for the shower and it worked almost as well.
MIL got us 2 Yankee candles when we first moved in together. 1 was a wonerful warm smell and it got used up quick. The second was a Macintosh and Granny Smith swirl. Well it burned all wrong, but I kept it. Yesterday I found it, put it in a pot of boiling water, and when it was all melty I moved it to the living room. But it was only smelly for a little bit. I'm going to Walmart to get new wicks and make new candles with the leftover wax and empty jelly and applesauce jars.

I've found that the swirl ones never burn quite right. I threw away two of them before I wised up and stopped buying them. I wish I had thought of your idea instead!
With the dryer lint, my mom told me the other day that one of her friends shoves the dryer lint into toilet paper or paper towel tubes and uses them as little fire-starter logs in her outside fire pit and in her fireplace.
If you haven't tried bringing a vibrator into your sex life ... do it.
: )
That's my tip for this lovely Tuesday morning!
For realz.
I've obviously used it on my own. I tried letting DH use it on me a few years ago and just couldn't get into it. But this past week we started using it WHILE actually having sex and ho-ly-sh!t. Amazeballs.

If your doing any kind of shredded chicken or crockpot chicken breast that will be simmering in juices all day, throw a thigh in as well. The thigh is fatty enough that it will keep the breast from getting rubbery and when its all mixed together the tender thigh meat will compliment the meal. Also, just one thigh isn't enough to make the whole thing too fatty.

LMAO!!!!!! I LOVE MY BUZZER!!!!!
Am I the only one it does nothing for? Boooooo.
Try a different one!
I had the same problem. The first one I bought (very simple and basic) did nothing for me. I bought a different one (more things happening at once) and oh the difference was unbelievable. They come in handy during deployments too.

Sometimes less is more. You could try a lower setting or use it with a layer or two of fabric as a barrier.
