Intro- 29 weeks

I am a regular over on the Pregnant After a Loss Board. I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes and started the diet/finger pricking etc today. I heard there is a GD check in on this board every Tuesday (?) that I'm hoping to join.

This is my third pregnancy, my prior two pregnancies ended in miscarriages. (1st- cause unknown; 2nd- Trisomy 16).

In addition to GD, I also have thyroid issues (Hashimoto's), but it's pretty well regulated (only on 50mcg of Levoxyl/day) and I also have the prothrombin gene mutation, which basically means I am basically 4x more likely to develop a blood clot than "normal people" (although luckily I have never had one yet).

Looking forward to spending my 3rd tri here with you all.

I am sorry for your losses. Welcome to the board! I am being watched for possible placental blood flow problems. My last scan my baby dropped to the 6th percentile I hope you have a wonderful 3rd tri!

Hi, Reg!  Glad to see you found your way over here.  Ilenegrace (who also posts on PgAL from time to time) does the GD check in on this board....I think she posted it today!
