I found out my OB/GYN is moving. I could cry :'

She delivered DD1 and help me get through ppd and my surgery after complications from delivering DD1 and took care of me when I was pregnant with DD2. She was the first gyn doctor I have felt a real connection with and felt comfortable with. I seriously feel like I am losing a friend.

You should call/mychart her before she leaves and get her recommendation on a new OB/GYN. She may be able to give you really good advice since she knows you well. It stinks having a good Dr move!

Hm I wrote a response but bump mobile is being dumb so I'll write it again..

It stinks you doc is moving. I love my doc too and would be upset if he moved. I'm a bit worried he may retire before I have a second child.

I found my doc through family members. Do you have friends or family who can recommend someone?

I am thinking about staying with the practice. I had a different doctor deliver DD2 since my regular ob/gyn wasn't on call and I liked him so will probably just continue to see him...but geeze this stinks!

Eta: we live in a smaller town and are very limited on ob/gyn

Awww..thats so sad! I'd cry too!! I loved my obgyn dr & the whole office sometimes I wish I could just get prego just so I can return!
