TMI question...VERY TMI

Ok ladies.  This may be a little bit extreme TMI but I want to make sure I am normal.  I am 7 weeks and I have been experiencing some clear vaginal discharge that is somewhat sticky.  Almost like I am "wet" all the time.  Is this normal?  What causes this?

    Yep, it's called leukorrhea and it's very common. It's due to the surges in hormones.

    It is actually called leukorreah and it is completely normal. It just has to do with changing hormones from what I understand. If it is bad enough you can wear a panty liner but don't use a tampon and don't douche.

    Thanks so much ladies!!  Glad to know this is completely normal.  I am going to start wearing pantiliners though because I do have incidents of "gushing" which I have also thought I was bleeding.  It scares you!

    Very normal.  You may want to invest in some panty liners. You may need them.  My first pregnancy, I had it bad and needed liners.

    Me too!  Not to mention the odds that other people are having the same symptoms are through the roof!  Makes me feel better about things like this that I'm not the only one Smile

    What a weight lifted! I was thinking something was strange bc I have been experiencing the same thing! have have done the Bathroom dash many times already! But like others have said it makes me feel 1,000,000,000 times better knowing I am not alone!

    Same here! I've been having to wear panty liners because I do feel very "wet" all of the time, also thinking I'm bleeding. Mine is also sticky, thick even (gross word but that's it!) I've heard this is normal!

    LOL, I'm eating mozzarella sticks while I'm reading this thread.

     

    To OP, I have it too and it also makes me run to the bathroom at times to make sure I'm not bleeding. Totally normal.

    Yup! I get it so bad I often feel like there is blood or something about to come. i ran to bathroom plenty of times and found nothing but discharge

    I wear liners every day, though I am also on progesterone suppositories so it is extra yucky :p

    Aug/Sept 2010 - CD3&10 b/w & u/s, genetic testing, SA, HSG, & Lap/Hyst to remove septum

    12/09/10 BFP -- 7/05/11 DS born at 33w5d. Came home after 23d in NICU at 37w0d

    June 2012 - TTC #2! -- 10/05/12 BFP --  5/23/13 DS2 born at 37w1d! Yay full term!
