I run a summer camp at the conservatory where I teach for pianists. The main focus is ensemble work: duets, trios, maybe even a quartet. There are other classes, like rhythm movement, jazz piano, and composition, but the goal is to have the kids learn a new piece with their partner(s) in a week.
Until last year, the camp has simply been called "Piano Camp." This has caused some confusion because there is another piano camp for soloists [also, it's a sleep away camp, whereas mine is just days], and I'm constantly getting questions about the other camp. And honestly "Piano Camp" is kind of boring.
So, I'm in the market for a new, catchy name for this camp. One of my supervisors suggested "Piano Partners Camp," and while I like the corny alliteration, it's not quite right. I need your help, Bumpettes! Help me rename my camp!
Re: Help me rename my camp
How old are the kids you teach?
Another corny alliteration ... "Piano Pals" Summer Camp?

Good question, I should have mentioned. It's grades 3 to 8. There are two separate sections, so grades 3 through 5 will mostly be together, and 6 through 8 will be together, but it's all the same camp.

Piano Pairs Day Camp.
"Keyboard Kollaboration Kamp"? (I know, I know. But it helps with the alliteration bit)
"Harmonic Ensembles Piano Camp"?
"Many Hands & A Piano Summer Camp"?
(Another 2 questions ... if it's a trio, is it 3 people sitting at one piano? Quartet uses 2 pianos then?)

Yes, a trio is 3 people (6 hands, 1 piano). A quartet is 4 people, and could either be 8 hands at 1 piano, or 8 hands at 2 pianos.

I like Harmonic Ensembles Piano Camp, or what about just Piano Ensemble Camp?
