Inserts Question

Hi!  I've been cloth diapering Jacob since 1 month old.  We started with PFs and AIO and moved on to Covers and inserts but I was recently told that microfiber and micro terry inserts are not supposed to come in contact with baby's skin.  We use Best Bottom covers and Fuzzibunz inserts... 

 

have any idea or advice on this or is what I heard trash?

MF and micro terry shouldn't go directly against baby's skin.  They will pull moisture out of the skin and can cause irritation.  These inserts are meant for use in pockets.
