This is an open check-in for ladies due in December 2012. Please let me know if you would like to be added or if there is any information that needs to be changed. We'll be checking in every Monday (or any day that I seem to remember...l) and if anyone has any suggestions or comments regarding the weekly question or anything else please let me know!
***I am tracking who responds and those who haven't "checked in" in 4 weeks were deleted them from the list. If I deleted you and you would still like to participate, please let me know, I'm just trying to maintain the list.***
Hope everyone is keeping in touch with their labor buddies! Now is a time to really get to know one another!
Updates: How are you doing? Please update us on any progress, appointments, milestones, etc. Also, if you have any questions, list them here and hopefully someone will answer!
GTKY: What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?

Re: ***December Check-In***
Updates: Finally got my test results back for my GTT and she said everything looked great! YAY!!!! Other than that, I have another appointment this Friday and another Chiropractor appt. tomorrow. I don't sleep at night anymore so I am exhausted ALL the time.
QOTD: I don't know what the NICEST thing anyone has ever done for me but recently I would say that my 2 best friends giving me an amazing "diapers and duds" shower so that I could get diapers and boy clothes was so sweet of them and they did an amazing job.
Updates: How are you doing? Please update us on any progress, appointments, milestones, etc. I go tomorrow to start my NST's which i am looking forward too, I hope the next 5 weeks go by faster than normal. I am terrified to lose this baby too.
GTKY: What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you? Not to sure I mean people afte rour loss made tons of meals and that was amazing but now a year latee they have all dissapeared.
Updates: GBS+ with this little munchkin. I was with DS too! Oh well - at least they caught it in my urine and I didn't have to swab! Other than that - not much to report!
QOTD: Gosh, I am not even sure. DH does consistently nice things for me all the time. And it constantly makes my day!
Updates: At my most recent appointment, I had an ultrasound. LO looks great and is measuring about 5.5 pounds!
QOTD: When I was worried that I wouldn't be able to have another successful pregnancy, one of my best friends offered to be a surrogate for me.
Update: Well I can not believe that we are already 30 weeks! I feel like it flew by, but I feel like d-day is still so far away. Things are going well! Baby is really active and apparently thinks gym class starts as soon as any movement is made in the morning. We have our next OB appointment on Thursday now that we are going every 2 weeks!
QOTW: I think the nicest thing I have done is just supporting my friends when they are going through difficult times. I do not judge and just suppor them in any way the need!
Question: DH took care of me when my back went out a year ago. I was laid up for a week and he had to do all the cooking and take care of DS completely. I usually do all the cooking and we share responsibilities with DS but that week I could not even walk and was basically helpless. I would have died if I did not have anyone to help me.
BFP#2 ~ 8/2/11, EDD 4/11/12, D&C 9/12/11 at 9w5d
BFP#3 ~ 4/15/12, EDD 12/21/12 ~ DD born 12/22/12
I think I've been deleted again...but I swear I checked in last week or at least the week before...oh well, here I am.
I have an appointment again this Thursday, 30 weeks...holy crap!!
Nothing really new on the symptoms train, everything is still mostly the same. This little girl is a wiggle worm, but luckily seems to sleep at night, so that's a good thing!
I can't think of one thing that is extra super nice that someone has done unexpectedly, at least nothing is popping out at me right now. My coworkers have thrown me surprise goodbye parties a couple of times when I have left my job to go to a new job, and that was nice. My current coworkers are throwing me a sprinkle on 11/9, and I didn't expect that at all (ok, I expected maybe something small like a little cake, but not something held at another location that they had to reserve).
BFP 12/19/08- DS born 8/25/09 9lbs2oz via Zavanelli Maneuver
BFP 8/26/11- Missed miscarriage discovered 10/19/11 at 11w2d, measured at 9 weeks gestation w/ no HB. D&C 10/21/11

BFP 4/23/12 at 10dpo Stick my little one! Beta #1: 83.3 @ 13dpo Beta #2: 197.7 @ 15dpo
Our little man is getting bigger every day!
My BFP Chart
Update: My weekly appt went well. LO is still looking great and the Dr has no concerns with size considering my GD. Feeling LOTS of movement and shifting which is so exciting. Getting a little tired of people telling me "ohhh you're due in December? You're so tiny!". I know it's a good thing, but I want to show the world how awesome and huge this LO really is. I'm doing my best!
GTKY: Since I can't think of anything specific, I'll be relatively cheesy (but completely honest): the love and support I get every day from DH constantly blows my mind. Being there every day is always the nicest thing.
Things are going well here. We have a biophysical profile scan on Friday to see if my GD is having an affect on our baby. If my GD is well controlled and they do not see any negative results, I will be able to go though labor and delivery as my body is ready instead of being induced - pretty awesome!
QOTW - In 2010, my sister lived in Colorado and I lived in Alaska at the time. She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and my husband (boyfriend at the time) supported my decision to go stay with her to help care for her and her 7 month old daughter. My job royally screwed me over and I was supposed to be taking a leave of absence that was approved but was later taken back three days after I arrived to Colorado. He was so pissed they did that to me and my sister that he told me quit my job. He supported all of our bills while I was gone, put groceries on both of our tables and sacrificed being without me for 2 1/2 months. He's amazing. I know I couldn't have handled being so far from her while she underwent such a difficult time in her life and he understood without asking any questions.
The night I got back from her house on 12/15, he proposed to me. Best return gift ever! To top things off, my sister was considered in remission as of 12/15 as well. It was a beautiful day for so many reasons.
GTNY: the most recent "nicest" thing: we had the most incredible baby shower yesterday! It was dream shower and we received everything on 2 registries and much much more. Feeling very blessed with all of this love and support!!!
Updates: No updates. I guess that is a good thing! The muppet is getting big, and we are thinking of changing his name to octopus because I think he has at least 8 legs....
GTKY: What is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you? That is a hard one, I can't really recall of anything that has ever been done for me that blew my socks off.

Updates: we had our 32 week appointment today. Everything looks good. Jackson hasn't been moving as much and of course it causes me to worry. They did a u/s and although the tech did agree he isn't moving a lot she is not concerned to his lack of movement. He moved enough. My Dr wasn't concerned either. Guess that's a good thing. When we were leaving one of the front end girls ran out and asked if I got my blood work done, I said no since I wasn't told anything. This was after the u/s so of course now I'm thinking maybe they want to check something else? Anyone else get routine blood work at 32 weeks?
GTKY: The nicest thing anyone has done for me is truly being understanding of my PgAL brain and not questioning my thoughts at times.

Think I was deleted. : p
Updates: Baby girl is measuring between the 75 and 90 percentile! I'm having a little bit of panic about pushing out a larger baby - ha - although I am so glad she's growing well!
Our third tri ultrasound looked great - she is head down and ready to meet us in just a few weeks!
I will admit that I am VERY physically uncomfortable at this stage. When I sit, I feel like her feet are in my ribs and her head is on my hip. It's tough to breath! I'm going to be ready to get this little one out as soon as she is fully cooked!
GTKY: My mother-in-law has purchased us a week of healthy meals for when baby girl first arrives. I am so grateful not to have to stress about what we will eat during that time...
