So my daughter constructed her first sentence this evening... and it involved the words "I love." I'm trying not to be too disappointed that it was followed by cookies. 

I gave her a gingersnap for dessert after her dinner and she immediately said "I love cookies!" She won't say that she loves mommy or daddy but she will profess her love for cookies!

I also love cookies. I think DS once said he loved juice which is totally true. I have only once heard an unprompted I love you. The rest of the time I have to ask.

Well, at least she properly understands both the "I" and "love" right? Positives... focus on the positives. Besides, the gingersnaps are pretty rocking! I forgot how much I love them!
