Anyone ever have a pjs and TV day?

Im feeling a little guilty here so please say you do lol.  DH worked last night and works tonight so he is sleeping and the boys and I have just been lounging in our PJs after a way too big pancake breakfast.  I know they have played too many video games and watched a little too much tv and we have no plans for anything else.  Feeling like an unentertaining slug mom today!

Re: Anyone ever have a pjs and TV day?

  • Currently having one of those days. Last weekend was busy and next weekend will be busy, so we're taking advantage of our time to relax!

  • It's ok. I forgot to make the waffle batter last night. So instead we are getting chicken, lounging in our PJs, watching football, and eventually I will get off the couch and play WoW. It's Sunday, it's lazy day.

  • Is it flameworthy to say almost every day is a pj's and tv day? Jaykay, but we do it fairly often and I only have one kid.

I'll be honest, she is running around naked today lol. I'm about to let her play with crayons or markers and I don't want her clothes getting colored on.

  • We do this every once in awhile, probably 12 times a month. I'd do it more often, but we're a busy family and it's not very often that we have a day where it's feasible to sit in PJs and watch TV all day. Lazy days are my favorite though!

  • That was our plan for today. We couldn't get DD1 interested in Madagascar 3 for anything though. So I'm still in lounge clothes and have just been doing some cleaning.
  • Yes. The only reason I am wearing shorts and not pjs is cause C spilled my coffee all over me. C is still wearing the shirt he went to bed in and a diaper, although that has been changed a couple of times too. And he is playing with his trains while H and I either watch TV or get on line off and on.

  • I can't see the last half of the title but I think we have a lot of those days. I am lazy and getting bigger. DS refuses to take his Elmo jammies off quite often. He was still wearing them when I left for work. DH will be in sweats until he goes hunting.
  • PHEW!!  You ladies made me feel much better....I may even have tv and Pjs day more often now in honor of you all!!  LOL;)

  • It's not what I planned to do today but I just do not feel good.

  • you're 14 weeks pregnant trying to keep the kids quiet you totally get a pass.

we do have PJ days and when I had a bad cold  DD watched way more TV than usual. some days you do what you have to and as long as everyone is alive and feed at the end of the day call it good.

  • The only reason I got us both dressed today was so we could go grocery shopping.  Then we lounged and watched some football!  If we didn't have to shop, it would've been a PJ day :)

  • I wish....Snuggle is always on the go inside or outside.  No interest in TV or anything that requires sitting down.  I usually don't complain about it, but once in a while it would be nice to sit with him and just veg out.

  • Absolutely! They are more infrequent now that the kids are in more activities and things are just busier; however, as the weather gets cooler and cold/flu season goes in gear, I'm sure there will be more.

  • I am doing this more often as the pregnancy progresses.

  • I had a pj under my pants kinda day today :)  My son had a hockey game at 6am and I didn't want to freeze so I wore flannel pj's under my pants for the game and never took them off.  Then I had to do a few errands and came home and took a nap while my dad had my kids :) By the time all that was done it seemed stupid to change when it was so late in the afternoon! I'm now thinking at bedtime i'll just take the top pair of pants off and leave the pj pants on!
