Our LO is a month old and last week we had a radical change. He started to hate being swaddled, we would not sleep in his RnP and would now only sleep being held or on his tummy. For the last week we have held him each and every time he has went to sleep. Of course every time he is on his tummy or side, because we are holding him, and yesterday we learned that he will sleep soundly by himself, but only on his tummy. What do we do? We are huge supporters of the back to sleep campaign and every article we read talks of it's importance...but LO will NOT sleep on his back or by himself unless on his tummy. Right now he has sleep for an hour on his tummy and I'm watching him (and on the bump)....but we can't sleep when this happens. It would be tough to go through this for the next 5 months. Help?!?! Did this every happen to anyone? What did you do?

DD1 was a tummy sleeper from close to a month old. She had reflux and MPI and that was literally the only way she would sleep longer than 15 minutes at a time. We used an angel care monitor.
Oh, and 2 years later she is still a tummy sleeper.
We let our LO sleep on his tummy. He has a really strong neck and has been able to lift his head and turn it from side to side while on his belly since he was very small.
We are trying to get him on his back though and just bought the Baby Merlin Magic Sleep Suit, but that's only recommended for 3 months and older.
