Does it work that way?

I am wondering if this is just a coincidence:

Last night I left DD for 5 hours ( only the second time ever) and this morning my fist PPP arrived.  Does you body have a baby proximity have anything to do with it.  Granted she has dropped a feeding in the last couple weeks, so she lets me go somewhere between 4-6 hrs between feedings at night, and I know that is a big factor.

  • I just started mine too.  I had to stop taking the mini pill because of my surgery wednesday.  I figured mine was related to that.

ETA:  I have had to leave Grant a lot and I really don't think that is related.

  • I don't think that's how it works. There are a lot of factors that play into it. Time away from baby may be one but it's just a coincidence that it happened after your night out.

  • I work every weekday from 8:30 to 5:30, sometimes a bit longer, and still haven't had even a hint of spotting.  So, it is probably just a coincidence.
  • Lol I highly doubt it. If that were true - I'd have gotten mine back in March. I'm still waiting and we've left her for an entire day before (dropped off at 8 am, returned at bed time).

For some it just returns because it's time I think. My doctor told me in August I shouldn't be surprised if mine appears at some point soon. I still nurse DD like I always have and haven't dropped any feedings. Hasn't shown up yet. Part of me wants it so I don't have to continue taking tests to check if I'm pregnant! Other than that - I do not miss it!
