I think we have picked our little boy's name!!! Cooper James.... Opinions? Anyone think Cooper is becoming overly used/ popular? Thanks

Cooper is on our list too. My only problem with it is that I think it is cute for a boy but not for an adult. I think for an adult Cooper sounds immature.

I automatically think of the show Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. I also agree that it makes a good name for a dog.

That's our choice if LO is a boy! Love it! I'm a school librarian, have been for 7 years (plus a year of student teaching) and NEVER had a Cooper, so I don't think it's popular at all. I think it's a strong name, that's why we picked it

This is a dog's name for me as well. (Literally - my cousins' sheep dog growing up was Cooper.) I don't think it passes the CEO/supreme court/news headline test.
