bruises

DD has been crying most of the day/last night which we have been attributing to teething. Around suppertime we noticed a series of small (like each one is 2-3 mm) bruises on her left leg. There are about 10 of them. I'm not wanting to run to the dr. over every little thing, but am worried it may be some sort of clotting issue or something. It's the weekend, so while I could go to outpatients, they wouldn't collect a blood sample or anything tonight at our particular hospital. There is a dr. on call, but he wouldn't be at the hospital right now. I don't want to be one of those moms who rush to the dr. at every little thing, but it seems really odd. Should I go now or wait to see if it is still there and go Monday if it is?

ETA: She is crying more often and more intense than she has ever before...

Can you call an advise nurse? I would do that since she has no other symptoms other than the bruises and the fussiness. But you know your chills better than anyone so follow your gut. Good luck!!

If it were me, I'd probably go straight to the ER, but I'm a tad crazy and don't care if I look like a paranoid mother. Clotting issues freak me out because I have them and are nothing to mess with. Maybe it's nothing but it's nice to have piece of mind.
