Hi ladies,
I never thought I would be posting here... I POAS yesterday and got a BFP, then had a blood test to confirm. My first Beta was 93 13DPO and am praying for doubling at my next draw on Monday. I am a nervous wreck and still can't believe we were able to achieve conception naturally just three days before my 40th birthday. We actually were scheduled for our first RE consult yesterday when I decided to POAS. I am still in disbelief.
I had the worst cramping and flu-like symptoms last night that hit me like a ton of bricks. I did not sleep at all last night...just tossed and turned. Thank goodness I feel better today. I am praying that I get to stay here......
I do have a question about progesterone and when it might be needed for pregnancy. Prior to my BFP, I did one round of Clomid 50mg because my progesterone level was 6.1; on day 21 it was 16.97. Does this have any bearing on whether or not I will need to take progesterone? Do progesterone levels get checked again as part of the first OB visit? I realize I am jumping the gun, but am trying to stay positive that my Beta will double and that this bean will stick.
I look forward to being active here.... H & H 9 months everyone!
