Update on me: WTF appt

Hello ladies.

Took a week off from bumping and all web infertilityrelated sites post BFN; needed to catch up on some things and also deal with it. I am OK now, though I was almost back at last Wednesday during the appt today for a moment.

My suspicions were confirmed; they left two follicles during ER because they felt it was too difficult to get to them. That's highly discouraging, because I can't help thinking one of those could have been a baby; I'm trying not to dwell.

My protocol has increased for the next cycle; totally upping me higher: 450iu follistim/150 menopur, and I will be monitored more often. She is also insisting on follistim as opposed to the gonal f I had before.

So now just waiting for AF, which looks to be dropping by around 11/4.
Us: 39(me)/41(he). TTC since April '11. DOR/MFI. March '12: surgery to remove fibroids, cysts, and endometriosis.
IVF #1: 9/13/12. ER: 9/25. 3R, 2M, 1F. ET: 9/28 (1-6B). Beta: moved from 10/11 to 10/10: BFN.
IVF #2: 11/12 cycle postponed due to Sandy and then cancelled due to elevated E2.
IVF #2.1 cancelled due to cyst.
IVF #2.2: 2/2/13. Converted to IUI. BFN
IVF #3.0: 3/2014. BCP & Microdose Lupron.  Cycle cancelled due to poor response.
IVF #4.0: 2/2015. EPP @ new RE. ER: 3/8. 3R, 3M, 1F. ET: 3/11 (1-8cell). 3/23 Beta: 16.9. 3/25 Beta: 71.6. 3/27 Beta: 300. 3/29 Beta: 800 3/31 Beta: 1816. 4/1 Beta: 4342. m/c at 6w2d. Goodbye little one. I loved you already.

    Glad you have a move forward plan. My follies performed better on follistim so Fx it is a better cocktail for you. GL

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    That sucks they could not get the other 2. Hoping the next round is a better cycle!

    Totally sucks they had to leave 2, but better that than risking injury to something else in there.  My RE warned me they might have to leave some when I was cycling too.  Good luck moving forward!!!!

    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN

    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    Oddly enough I do feel a little better about those being there. With an initial AFC of 9, I was really stressed about there only being three eggs and one empty follicle.  Weird.

    At least you were warned... I knew that there was a possibility that some would be empty or immature, but not that they would be left there. But I do know now, so I am a better prepared, I think.  Thanks for the GL wishes.

    I'm glad you have a plan to move forward. I'm sorry they had to leave a couple of follicles untouched. That is especially difficult when you don't have too many follicles to begin with. Good luck!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN
