First hcg shot tonight

I had my iui earlier this week and all went well. All except for the occasional anxiety attacks I am still having. It definitely helps to know others a re having the same thoughts so I thank you all for the responses to my earlier post. 

 

Tonight was the first hcg shot (3 total), and I am so thankful my dh was home to give it.  I was doing ok until I started mixing it and getting ready. I have serious needle issues so  I am really thankful for dh. He did really well and it only hurt a little. 

 Anyone else do hcg?  Any side effects I should expect?

    I only had to do one shot each series (got BFP on 2nd IUI) but may be in for the three shot sequence next round in a few months.  The only side effect I got was a tiny, tiny bruise at the injection site.  Nothing else physically.  Good luck!!

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Miscarriage 4/23/15

    No side effects here. Good luck!

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12
