My OB doesn't let me do a real work out until 2 months PP. I'm 3 weeks out right now and feeling great, but I don't want to risk anything so I'm waiting to do "real" exercise. This was my 4th c-section and I really want to heal.

Wait the full 6-8 weeks (whatever your doc recommends). I felt great shortly after my first cs and when I had my 2nd, the adhesions took forever to dissect and were difficult (as in stuck to my bladder). My doc told me to absolutely follow all activity instructions the second time around. Third cs will be in May and I think it will be just as bad, if not worse.

My doc told me to start walking at my one week appointment. HOwever, he said no vigorous exercising until 6 weeks. I started at 6 weeks and I hurt. He told me I couldn't hurt anything, it would just be super sore and he was right!
I felt good enough to start running and doing abs about 4 weeks pp. I took it easy and would do 3 miles a time with about 10-12 minute mile splits. I ran a 5K at about 7 weeks pp and by 12 weeks pp I felt like I was back to normal as far as working out went. This was after my RCS. After my first c-section I started running about 5 weeks pp.
