My daughter wakes up in the morning and will sit with her legs hanging out of her crib. She will literally sit there quietly until we come get her. Sometimes I wonder how long she's been awake b/c she won't make a sound. So, I don't feel guilty when I wake up and notice her sitting there quietly. Now, totally different in the afternoon and I'm on my computer or whatever and can see in the monior she's awake. How long would you allow her to sit there before you went in. Sometimes, I feel like if she didn't nap very long, I will let her sit there until she starts to cry b/c I feel like even though she isn't sleeping she will get some quiet time...who am I kidding, I enjoy my quiet time and relish the peacefulness in the afternoon as long as possible.
