XP: Transitioning from RnP to Crib

Hi ladies,

We have a nurse that does home visit for DD because she was in the NICU. The nurse today said she is developing a flat head and we need to stop using the RnP and transition to crib. So, I just packed up the RnP so it wouldn't even be an option in the middle of the night and I won't enable myself to keep using it. 

For those that transitioned to crib, how did it go? How did you do it? How long did it take for LO to adjust? Did she wake up a lot during the night? I am preparing myself for some long nights, but it will be worth it if it helps prevent DD from wearing a helmet and her flat head getting even worse.

No advice as we are still using the RnP, but I'm curious to see the replies to this.  We hope to transition somewhere aroud 6 weeks to 2 months.
