my 1st beta and question...

Well, I'm disappointed, no beta results today. I was told they would be ready but it isn't. How Rude! So now I gotta wait until Monday.

 Now I have a silly question...but I need reassurance...my last beta when I miscarried was 4, and that was on the 24th of Sept. There is NO way that FRER can pick up 4?..I know it says 25 but has anyone had a fluke? My levels when I mc - on 9/19, afternoon 65 and evening in ER it was 49..and then like i said final was 4 on the 24th...

I know its silly but its my pgal mind....

A beta of 4 is very, very low. It would be highly unlikely for that last bit to linger an entire month, and be picked up on the FRER. I think you should be happy and enthusiastic - you're pregnant! Be optimistic, things will be ok.

Yea I figured..the FI keeps saying that has to be it, lol! I didn't have a d&c or anything and happened very fast...I was just looking fwd to it today. I also was expecting other news today and now that is delayed until monday too. So it's been an annoying afternoon! My mind does not agree that patience is a virtue.

I'm sorry you didn't get your results back today.  I hate when you have to wait the entire weekend!

I got my bfp on a FRER which was very very faint.  You could barely see the line.  I went in 30 minutes after I POAS and my beta came back at 17.  I really doubt that it would pick up anything less than this so I doubt this was from your mc if your levels were down to 4.  I hope you get your results soon and try not to worry!

lurking, but wanted to share.....

 When I had my CP, my last beta was a 5, and the FRER didnt pick it up...it came up neg.

thanks again ladies. I took another test about an hour ago and a line came up in 1 minute so that reassured me. Its just when my obgyn called me today they said the only problem is that they dont know if its still previous mc. they didnt know i went to my BFF's dr already and they did my final bw and it was 4. when I told her that she was like "oh then yea...we just didnt have history of that" so it just got me thinking random crap again. even with her saying that. silly me.
