DH is really pissing me off this week and I'm having a bad day and need to let it out a bit.  I've had a cold since Tuesday.  Not once has he asked how I was feeling, asked if he could do something to help me out, taken care of me in any way.  In fact, he's been knowingly leaving me extra stuff to do (He was supposed to clean up Lily's mess from dinner last night and decided he wanted to leave it till the morning.  Um, not okay.  First of all, we had salmon and we have two cats; does he really think the cats aren't going to go after the bits of fish that are left lying on her tray, plate, seat and the floor?  Second of all, she had mashed her food into the tray and if you leave it overnight it's incredibly difficult to get off.  So I told him I wasn't going to let it sit all night and he went to bed without doing it anyway.  He also didn't clean up after her breakfast this morning and let her completely trash the livingroom but didn't tidy any of it up and we're going away for the weekend so I had to clean it all up and pack.)  Today on our way to drop him at work I was sneezing and sniffling and said how tired I was of being sick.  His response?  "I hope you don't give it to me."  Seriously?! 

This will be a rant and run 'cause we have to go pick up DH and get on the road, but please post your testes complaints here and I'll check in later to commiserate with you all.

My DH is "renovating" our backyard. First, he killed all the grass and tilled some of the dirt. He was supposed to rake everything level and then plant grass seed. That was LAST FALL. I have NO GRASS. I have a giant mud pit. The dog loves it. I don't.

I have no real complains. Just miffed that he's working around the clock. But, he still helps out and it's his business.....so I won't complain.

DoctorWorm, that really sucks.  Have you tried giving him a deadline to work with?  If it's not done by _______ then you're hiring someone to do it or something like that (even if it's an empty threat because of the cost).

joolz, I was seriously pissed off.  I couldn't even speak for the rest of the ride to work, but he didn't seem to notice.  And he kept making digs at me during our drive to my parents and once we got here (announcing it to them) about my bad mood.  How about you try being sick, getting no help, having a cranky screaming baby while you're trying to pack for the weekend, and being pooped/peed on and see how good your mood is, DH!  He was even giving me a hard time about the fact that I didn't manage to re-make our bed after washing the sheets.  I'd like to see him single-handedly make our bed with Lily holding his leg and screaming because he's not holding her.

The only thing saving his butt right now is that he took Lily for a couple of hours this morning when she woke up so that I could sleep because I was congested and coughing all night.

We were out of cold & sinus at home and I forgot to get some from my mom before I went to bed.  I won't make that mistake again tonight!

Also, I love the idea of leaving DH with Lily and a to-do list.  If we were home for the weekend, I'd totally do that.  Not really possible while visiting my parents, but I'm going to keep it in mind for next time!
