PP Bleeding- How Long??

With DS1, I bled for 7.5 weeks.... the first 3 weeks were fairly heavy.

It has only been a week since DS2 was born, and I'm almost done bleeding....

Is this normal??

There's really no normal. Some women barely bleed, some, like me, bleed terribly for over 7 weeks.

I bled for just over 6 weeks with DD and this time around it was 2 weeks.  I think it's different for everyone and every pregnancy.

I bled for about 3 weeks and it faded.

I'm sure it is. Mine starts to face and I think it's over and then it comes again. If you really are almost done, I'm jealous!!

I agree. I don't think there is a normal. With DD1 I was totally done at 6wks. With DD 2 I stopped bleeding at 2.5 the. Had brownish discharge for a little while the. The bleeding picked up again. It has been on and off since. DD was five weeks this past Wednesday.

Like PP's said, there is no normal. I bled heavilly with DS1 for 4 weeks then spotted for another 2-3. With DS2 I bled heavilly for less than a week then lightly for another 2 weeks then was pretty much done.

i bled heavily for a week, then it tapered to brown spotting the week after that with some on/off red blood. everyone's different.
