Areolas getting bigger?

Has anyone else noticed this? I swear to God I think mine have grown by at least an inch. If I had to guess I'd say they are 3-4 inches in diameter (I'm a 44Dish right now so at least my ENTIRE boob isn't areola). WTF? They were big all ready but now they just look monsterous. Ugh! I wonder if that is something that can be altered during a boob job, if so it's going on my list.

 BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!

    I haven't noticed anything but DH thinks mine are darker.  I'm really not looking forward to them growing because I already wear a DDD.  Here we go!

    I havn't noticed anything...except a few small bumps on the areola.

    I love that you posted this because I called DH into bathroom last night to show him how much bigger mine are! I then called my mom to share the news haha. Lets hope they go back down

    I noticed this the other day.  They are darker also..

    Yup, that's normal!  Mine got bigger as my boobs grew last pregnancy, and then they went back to normal (and I'm still nursing).  The color was never quite as light as pre-baby, but they definitely lightened up over time.

    Don't worry.  Your baby will love your boobs no matter what they look like. In fact, all these changes are just so baby can find milk easier! :-)

    I thought they got bigger when I was PG with DS. I told my Mom they looked like a bullseye!

    It's totally normal.  This happened to me with DD.  I think it's so your baby (when he/she is born) can find the nipple...honestly, it sounds weird, but I believe I read that's the reason.  Babies can't see very far when they are first born, so it helps.

    Mine are bigger too! And darker. I read in "What to Expect When You're Expecting" that it makes them like a bullseye for the baby. Much easier for him/her to find :)

    Yup mine are definitely a little bigger and darker.  I have pierced nipples and I feel like the damn rings are about to pop out!

    This, here.   Mine stayed the same throughout my last pregnancy, in size and shape. So far they are stayting the same again

    This is just the start of the boob changes. The bigger and darker areola help baby find its food.
