FFFC

I have one that's not real juicy. I was at the ASU vs Oregon game last night, and as my Sun Devils were getting slaughtered, I realized how much college football is overrated. I so prefer to watch the NFL. At least those games have a little more action.

*gasp!!!* I fall asleep watching the NFL all the time. College is so much better! Maybe you were just bored because you were losing. :-(

My confession: my tv is on far too often. I feel guilty, but DD is awesome at entertaining herself these days. FTR, of course I interact and play with her, but it is background noise, which is absolutely necessary for my sanity.

I was incredibly bored during the 2nd and 3rd quarter. It just sucks to watch a game with pretty much no defense.

I'm also a sore loser when it comes to my teams :)

  • for almost four years dh's family has been wanting him to get a dna test done with his daughter, up until last august he wasn't on the birth certificate and had to sue his ex. his family don't acknowledge her as being his and will not until he gets it done. i'm feeling exhausted and just so emotionally beat down anytime his ex doesn't allow him a visit, cause then he gets depressed. i know it isn't good for me, kohan or baby. but on the subject of getting a dna test, kohan says dad this morning to him and dh says, are you sure about that? you might want a dna test to prove it. i was going to leave it, but i couldn't, dh says he was just kidding, i said if you have any doubts then get a dna test for him too!

  • My DD is starting Girl Scouts. Well, in order for us to even have a troop, I had to step up to lead. It honestly sucks! It takes so much of my time that I really can't spare to begin with. I told them that I'm probably moving sometime before the summer. I'm really not the person to lead; help out sure, but not lead. I told my DD that in girl scouts we'd be spending more time together, but so far it's only taking more time away from her. It's basically a teaching position that isn't paid at all. I understand that some teachers get a less than wonderful salary, but at least they get something. I am getting no help from the parents to boot! *ugh*

You're nicer than I. A couple of years ago we looked into getting DSS into scouts, but when I found out that he would be the only one and I would be his leader I bailed.

my mom used to be a beaver, cub and scout leader when my brother was in... because he's special needs they weren't sure how hand him or something, I was born around the time he was in so my mom told them, package deal.

  • I'm so mad, I hate credit cards. Payment was due today at 3pm local time 5pm eastern. I was 30 freaking minutes past the cutoff time and got dinged with a fee. UGH, I'm never late, but since I've been on break I've been gallivanting all over town and almost forgot. Angry

  • Currently wishing DH was MORE stingy. Odd, I know. Someone on Craigslist has free 18 month boys clothing and even though I wish there were pics or something (looks sketchy to me without them) I am still interested. DH was pretty much like "hell no".... we could use any help with clothing we can get right now! Free is pretty much the best you can get as long as the clothes are wearable...

And clothes are one of the few things I'm OK with used in good shape

If you have never been late then I would call and explain.  They will often refund the late fee.
