I know it depends on the child, but just wondered how much solids your 9 month old eats? DS is a tank, he's 22.5lbs and DH and I keep going round and round about how much he should eat. I send him to DC with 3-4 oz of food for lunch, 2-3 oz of fruit & yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast, some puffs for a snack, and then he eats whatever he wants at dinner. It seems like a lot of food to me, but Dh disagrees.

Re: Solids - how much?
My LO is a peanut and doesn't have a huge appetite. I go by (loosely) the Gerber menus on their website for how much veggies, fruits and grains they should be getting on a daily basis.
1/2 c fruit
1/2 c of veggie
1/2 c cereal
1oz of meat
BFP 3.8.16 EDD 11.20.16
Not sure, as he's on all table foods, so I have no idea how many ounces he's eating.
He has eggs, yogurt, fruit for breakfast, etc.
Lunch - he'll eat anything - yesterday at daycare he had a grilled cheese cut into tiny pieces, cottage cheese, and some cooked veggies
For dinner I made homemade mac and cheese with carrots, artichokes, and red peppers cooked in
He hates puffs, he is so over them:) If your child seems happy and satisfied after eating, then he is getting enough.

I think that's fine!
We started solids late (due to food allergies) but my DD just recently stared eating a LOT!
Easily, she eats more than a 4 oz cup (not 4 oz by weight-I fill up a 4 oz container with food, just to get an idea for quantity). She gets 3 solid meals and some puffs/dried fruit in between (which she hates). She's very tall, her height is in the 90%, her weight is in the 75%.
Our pedi said, that a stage 2 food size for each meal and some snacks are good, just as a guide.
we're SO behind I feel like on solids. My girls are almost 10 months but are preemies (8 months adjusted) and we only do purress still base on one of my daughters working w/ a ST on some feeding issues. Right now they get stage 2 fruit purree for breakfast and usually a stage 2 veggie and meant purree for dinner. They also eat 4 8 ounce bottles a day...but dont always drink it all. I'm going to be adding a lunch purree in this week since they have been seeming to be hungry before their afternoon nap.
Oh and on a side note they are growing just fine..especially for being born early. They're both in the 50-75% for height and weight.
