Toms

So, I went shoes shopping after my OB appointment today. I decided to bite the bullet and try on a pair of Toms. I always thought they were kind of ugly, but I saw a few younger people wearing them with their outfits and they looked cute. Holy hell, they are comfortable! I wore them to finish my shopping and the drive home. My feet don't hate me. So is that the deal with these things??

Also, I got my TDAP and flue shot today. My arm feels dead.

Glad you liked them. I think they look adorable with skinnys, and capri's. I honestly hate that I pay $60 for shoes and they fall apart in 6 weeks and then I'm out a bunch of money.

    Oh well, kids in Africa.

I just wanted shoes that feel good on. Since I've hit the swollen and uncomfortable stage. My Puma's are too narrow for my feet now.

How are you 30 weeks pregnant already!? Holy smokes...

I understand that. And then wearing flip-flops until the baby is born because just the thought of wearing shoes made my toes cry.

I know right? I keep telling DH that we need to get things done! He keeps shrugging it off saying we have "time". He doesn't understand how quickly these last few weeks creep up on you, though they feel like they take forever.

I was totally thinking of just doing flip flops, but my toes would probably freeze off. I got Toms that were a little thinner and stretchier than the canvas ones. Lots of toe room.

  • It's like wearing socks all day. I love mine.

But don't wear them in the rain. No one likes soggy socks.

Love mine. So comfy. Need new ones though, because I made the mistake of wearing them to work a few times and going home without showering (I normally shower before I leave work, I get dirty) and now they are permanently stinky. Boo.
Put them in a Ziplock bag and stick them in the freezer overnight. It gets rid of the stink!

Really?! I'm trying this tonight! Thanks!
