When did your toddler "get" the sit n spin? I was thinking for her b-day next year (age 2) but wonder if she'd be old enough to grasp the concept at Christmas or not. TIA!!
He didn't quite have the coordination (or maybe upper body strength?) to do it by himself at first but looooved playing on it anyway.
Sooo fun to put a pice of lego on there and watch it fly across the room when you spin it!
I'd say go ahead at Christmas. He was using it by himself before his second birthday.
We got Dylan's trike last Christmas (17 months) and he didn't really ride it until a couple of months later but it was the kind of thing that worked well under the Christmas tree.....
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I think my DD was either 2 or 3 when we got a sit'n'spin. It didn't take too long for her to figure out how to work it. My DS learned at a younger age from watching her.
Incidentally, my kids STILL love the sit'n'spin and they are 4 and 8 now! It's a classic.
