Quick question. I went into JoAnn's today and was looking at the fleece to do some of my own liners to save money. No one there knew anything about cloth diapers to help me. As long as I get the microfleece I should be ok right? If you've used theirs did you like it, or should I just order online from a specific cloth diaper supply sewing site?
TIA

Re: Fleece liners DIY
Thank you. I'm glad you said something, because I debated doing bamboo/hemp myself.
I recently bought some microfleece from Joann and did a little test.
I laid out a square of microfleece and also of standard polarfleece (because I had some). then I dripped a few tablespoons of water on each one. On the polarfleece, it stayed on the surface, but on the microfleece, it soaked right through - score!
I'm going to cut it into liners. I don't plan to do any edging, just rectangles.
That is my long way of saying that the polarfleece at Joann appears to be good liner material.
Perfect! Thank you. I plan to do the same, no edging just rectangles
No, it won't unravel. Fleece is not a woven fabric. T-shirt material, called jersey, is the same way.
I've used the blizzard fleece from JoAnn's and it works pretty well! Only synthetic fabrics are stay-dry.
