Intro (waves from Fort Worth!)

Hi all! I have been on TB for a few years now,but I just moved to Fort Worth from Lubbock,where there was no local board. DH and I relocated here in July for his position in Arlington. We have been TTC since Dec 2010 with no pregnancies to date,and I do have a DX of a chromosome translocation of 13:14,which essentially means I am totally normal,but it directly affects any pregnancies I might have. Long story short, I am a carrier for Trisomy 13 and Trisomy 14. When DX I was told this should not affect me actually getting pregnant,only the pregnancy itself until 10 weeks. DH is 18 yrs older than me with 2 kids from a previous marriage,so we are nearing the point of doing more testing for him (and myself) to see where the problem lies. We had a wonderful RE in Lubbock,but since we knew for almost a year prior that we would be moving to DFW,we decided to put further testing on hold. Now I am just mentally preparing myself for the process or sorting everything out insurance wise,and actually finding a good RE in Fort Worth. I guess that is all for now,but I just want to say how excited I am that I can finally join this board!
