Re: Daycare Bathing

  • No, usually 2 times per week and wipe her down the other days. If dd has painted yup she paints at 3 months usually pain the bottoms of her feet and hands to do art, and if she has paint on her toe nails she gets an extra bath.

  • No, I bathe DD everyday because it helps her sleep quality (and mine too)

  • No, I give my LO a bath twice a week.  Babies shouldn't be bathed daily, their skin doesn't need it and you can strip them of oils they need.  If you want to clean their neck and hands with a washcloth daily, that's fine, but you don't need to bathe more than every other day.

  • I have been giving L a bath everynight for a really long time. I was washing her hair every other night but now that she is in DC I wash it daily. Sometimes her hair gets pulled and I know the teachers mess with it so I wash it daily.

  • Yes. DS1 started daycare at 3mo and I started giving daily weekday baths, not on Sat and Sun. I will do the same with this baby when he starts daycare in January.
