I have seen quite a few around the internet, but I was wondering what recipe you ladies use. I've been considering doing this after I use up the last of our liquid detergent and I've never even attempted something like this so I will need all the help I can get!

Re: Homemade laundry detergent recipe?
I use:
- one bar of Fels Naptha
- 1 cup of borax
- 1 cup of arm& hammer super washing soda
Microwave the Fels Naptha for a few seconds to soften it. Break into chunks, then throw it in the food processor to blend. Mix all 3 ingredients. Use 1tbsp for small/lite loads,2 tbsp for heavy/dirty loads. Makes about 60loads worth of detergent.
We love it,works well. Very quick, easy, and cheap to make.
This exactly, only I used Ivory soap (I heard you can use either). I also accidentally bought regular baking soda and it so far is working out find. It is soo cheap. I made a batch that has lasted at least a month (with more to go) and still have like entire box of borax and baking soda left.
I use the recipe already posted.
