I HATE my therometer. Any recommendations? I am thinking of an ear or temple one.

    We like our Braun digital ear thermometer.  It reads very quickly which is important with squirmy sick baby!   Seems to be fairly accurate as well (when I take multiple reading back to back it comes back with the same number).

    We have the exergyn temporal and like it it's nice to be able to get a quick noninvasive temp. We also have a Vicks rectal if the dr ever asks for it.

    I got the Braun but honestly didn't like it. I think the ear piece was too big to to fit in my daughters ear to give an accurate reading and while it does give a quick reading...it just wasn't quick enough for my daughter lol.

    The best one I've found is a CVS brand one believe it or not. It's digital and comes with 4 or five different attachments so you can take their temperature many different ways.
