What products make your life easier?

Disposable crock pot liners are my life saver bc I am notorious for taking longer to clean the crock pot bc of it's size.  What things do you love that make things easier and quicker?

  • The crock pot in general.  My mom never used one but everyone kept telling me to get one when I was doing my wedding registry.  It's awesome to just throw ingredients in a pot and it's done by the time I get home.  The house smells so good even from the driveway.  I cook 5/6 nights a week (DH will usually cook once a week and he'll help with breakfast and lunch on the weekends) when I use the crock pot, it's so nice to know I can just sit and eat and there's not a ton of prep or clean up.

I have disposable liners but I haven't used them yet, now I definitely will next time!

  • I use the Ninja blender seriously almost every day to make my son's smoothies (among other things). Also, I use one of those little baskets in the dishwasher that are made for bottle parts to wash the blades every night. Awesome!

    Also, a dishwasher lol.

  • The soothie pacifier is on the top of my list at the moment. But I just hope it doesn't turn into the worst thing in the future.

Also another for the dishwasher and washer/drier in the home.

Flat iron. I hate using the blow dryer- it takes too long and it makes me hot. I go to bed with wet hair, wake up and flat iron. Voila, straight silky hair in minutes!

  • iPhone!  I love using down time (waiting in line, waiting rooms, etc.) to clear out my email, pay bills, keep all my shopping lists in one place, organize travel--I feel like it does everything and don't know how I functioned before it.

Also agree with the Crock Pots/Liners- awesome to come home to a fresh, warm meal at the end of the day.

Auto and electronic bill pay- can knock out almost all of our bills in a few minutes online vs. sitting down with a stack of bills to sort through.

Bags that let you clean dry-clean items in the dryer.  Save lots of time and money vs. trips to the dry cleaner.

Amazon subscribe and save for items we use in bulk (pet food, etc.).

  • Contigo travel mugs.  I can carry water with me everywhere without worrying about spilling.

My egg cooker.  Makes perfect hard-boiled eggs everytime.

My kitchenaid standmixer.  Love that thing.

Lock & Lock containers.  Keeps food fresh.  Goes in the freezer and microwave too.

Small crossbody bags.  I can keep my valuables with me when I'm running around with Kiddo.

Sunblock wipes.  Make it easy to get the kid protected in the mornings.

    Eos lip balm.

  • I discovered www.cozi.com it's a life saver for me it really helps me stay organized a keep precious moments to share with family and friends. It's an online family organizer for working moms. You can even download an app to your phone and tablet and access while you are at the store for your shopping list and to do's. I sorry that I'm coming off like a commercial, but it's really awesome! ;)

  • The dishwasher, hands down.  I put everything in it.

Tin foil - I line baking sheets to roast vegetables the nights MH will grill dinner, and then we have zero cooking stuff to clean up.

Our Roomba (those programmable auto vacuums) to keep on top of the dog hair - press a button before I walk out the door for work.

Online shopping - I rarely have to set foot in a store anymore unless I want to - clothes, shoes, diapers, cleaning products...you name it.  Almost everywhere has free shipping with a minimum purchase, and I can shop around for the lowest prices.

Cleaning wipes - like Clorox disinfecting wipes & stainless steel wipes.  I can give my bathrooms & kitchen a quick wipedown mid-week after dinner in no time and keep things presentable between deep cleanings.

Disposable diapers - not the sustainable route I initially wanted, but doesn't really need much explanation on the 'make your life easier' front.
