So, the other night, I was getting ready to go to bed and I checked on the video monitor to see Adalyn. Sure enough, even though I had placed her face up, she rolled herself over and was sleeping soundly on her belly.
I was debating whether or not to go in and roll her back. However, I know that once they can flip themselves there is no need to worry. That, and she's still on the apnea monitor. I'll be honest, it was nice to have the apnea monitor as a type of reassurance that should she stop breathing it would alert me. I guess that's a benefit? Regardless, she's rolling herself over on her belly every night since then with no issues.
Oh, and she has been consistently sitting, UNASSISTED, for a few days now for longer than 20 seconds. I still can't leave her by herself (because she will just topple over) but she's sitting upright and playing for longer and longer periods of time.
Re: Adalyn flipped on her belly!
That's awesome! Yeah Adalyn!
