Pregnant after a Loss

Third tri ladies...kicking question

This baby is kicking me a LOT in my cervix and sometimes it hurts! Occasionally it takes my breath away. I honestly can't remember if this happened in my first pg...maybe? Is this normal third tri stuff or does it hurt bc I have a cerclage?

Anyone else having this?

  • I don't have a cerclage, and I am still getting the occasional painful kicks to the cervix.  I had it with both pregnancies, so I think it is normal.

  • My cervix gets assaulted pretty regularly these days, and sometimes it just plain hurts. I have stopped mid sentence during conferences just to catch my breath after a nice strong punch to the ol cervix!

  • She kicks me repeatedly in the cervix probably at least once a day. It's not painful for me but really uncomfortable. I asked the OB to remind me when they're supposed to turn around and he said around 36 weeks. Hurry up!

  • This is my 4th pregnancy and my first that I am getting kicks in the crotch, lol.  I was told it's normal and because the baby hasn't turned yet.  Ouch.

  • I haven't had "kicks" to the cervix in a few weeks, but I do get a "pushing" sensation.  It sort of feels like when he is pushing his bum against the side of the ute.  The pressure is pretty uncomfortable, but I can usually get him to move with a little bit of pressure on the lower abdomen.

  • I have been blessed that Jackson has been head down since about week 24 and seems to have sound a comfortable position. I hope he doesn't choose to more. I do get pressure that gets uncomfortable from his head but no kicks. I hope Lo decides to flip and you have no more feet in your cervix.

  • A lot of my earliest hits/kicks were down in my cervix and she still favors hitting me down there a lot of the time. My lo is already head down so I think at this point she  must be head butting me or something, it's still pretty uncomfortable but it was more painful before when I think it was a limb rather than a head. I wouldn't call it a sharp pain or anything but I would deffinatly get sore down there after she spent the day beating on her exit lol.
  • No answers to your questions. I just wanted to say I'm so happy you're still here and baby continues to cook :)

  • Hi WW, I have been getting those horrible pains too (for awhile). I dont have a cerclage though.

I know my baby is head down (has been forever). Man, some of the headbutts or punches double me over and take my breath away.

You might ask your OB, but I think it is normal 3rd tri stuff.
