How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 31wks 5 days, a pineapple Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Start NST next tuesday QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? We will be using all of her stuff that we weren't able to use last year since she passed before coming home, she will also wear the same outfit both her sisters wore for pictures. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Just wish I was closer to having her and i was guaranteed she was coming home alive.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?I will be 15 weeks on Saturday, so a large orange.
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?Next appointment is on Monday but no sono. Hopefully I'll be relaxed since I can use the doppler beforehand to make sure there's a heartbeat. I want to talk about monitoring for the rest of my pregnancy. The past few appointments I've been so anxious and then relieved when we see a heartbeat that I forget my questions!
QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? I definitely will, but I'm not sure how yet. I don't want this LO to feel a great deal of pressure to fill the role of his/her older sister, who might always be perfect in our minds.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Saturday we are doing a Walk to Remember at our Hospital. This will be our first time at a public event about our loss. I hope DH and I find it healing.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 17 weeks 5 days--an onion becoming a sweet potato. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?Tuesday (18 weeks 3 days) is the day I went into labor last pregnancy, so our big milestone. QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? We have decided on a name for this baby (as if you couldn't tell from my signature!). And we decided to give her a middle name after her sister Alice. I hope that that is a good decision. I like the idea of there being a constant reminder of Alice in the existence of this baby. And that it will be a way for Ada to have some kind of connection to Alice. But assuming Ada actually turns out to be our take home baby I don't want there to be any kind of overshadowing of her by Alice. It's got to be hard to feel like you are competing with a dead sibling--they can't do any wrong!
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Just trying not to freak out completely, which we are somewhat failing at. We have both been just trying to survive these past few weeks. The house has been getting grosser. We are never eating very well because I am still queasy and sometimes puking and have so many food aversions. I am entering a busier time at work and have been getting stressed by that business. I have to believe it is going to feel better after Tuesday because I can't survive 22 more weeks of feeling like this!

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?I am 31 weeks. Baby is a watermelon! My ticker finally changed, lol.
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?Just my appt. every week. At this point every week further we get is a bonus.
QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? My rainbow (and my older DD) will always know about their brother. We talk about him often w/ DD. I haven't decided yet if I will somehow include him on this one's birth announcement. This baby truly will be a baby we would not have otherwise had if he had lived; such a weird thing emotionally. I was due w/ Nathaniel in March and I got pg with this LO in March so it definitely would not have happened. In a way it's kind of beautiful and crushing all at the same time.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Nathaniel's first birthday is approaching (2 weeks). I'm not sure what we will do; I don't know how much DH wants to do but I don't want it to be anticlimactic either. I just don't know what happened to the last year of my life; I feel like I am right back where I was last year- it's fall, I'm pregnant, etc. It is a mindfvck.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? I am 20 weeks 5 days today and I am a banana going on a pomegranate. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? My next milestone will be the actual date that we found out about Avery's condition. On November 16th we thought we were having a little person who would grow up and live a long and happy life. On November 18th, we learned that her chest was bell shaped and her chances of survival were plummetting. I can't believe it has almost been a year! Also, first Halloween, first Thanksgiving, and first Christmas are right around the corner. QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? This child will have Avery for a middle name. I think that it is a nice way to pay tribute to her since she is the reason that this baby is here. We will also always talk about her and include her as part of our family. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I think we finally settled on a name! It will be Blake Avery (last name that sounds like Auburn). I am so glad to give this baby and identity! My first shower is coming up on the 10th of November, and I am starting to get really excited about that. I will only be 24 weeks, but it's in my hometown and it is the only other time that I will be able to come home other than Christmas. I have made excuses for all other baby showers, so this will be my first since having Avery. I am sure I will be emotional even though it is for me.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? I am 31w6d today and I think that's a pineapple. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have an appt on Monday (just a regular check up), but the n/m was a bit concerned because I didn't gain any weight last appt. So either I am losing weight (which wouldn't be bad necessarily) or baby isn't gaining, which is NOT good obviously. I have been weighing myself, but my scale isn't as accurate. Keeping FX that I gained at least half a pound this week. QOTW: Will you do anything special to incorporate your Angel into your new baby(s) life? We buried Annabelle with a special teddy bear that we also got our older 2 kids and I am trying to hunt down another for this baby. Of course it's no longer being sold where I got it from, but I am hoping to find it somewhere else. We have pics of Annabelle up and the older kids talk about her quite frequently so this baby will know of his big sister too. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? My oldest is getting over a bad case of pneumonia and at one point we were with the doctor and they couldn't get his fever down (it was at 105.3!). I panicked and briefly though about how I just couldn't handle losing another child. I feel silly now that the thought even crossed my head, but it was scary seeing my oldest so sick. He is finally getting better, but he still has a long time before he will be 100%.
