Let's just put this out there.  I've heard of this wonderful experience lovingly named "lightning crotch".  Anyone know when this exciting symptom might start?  I have been having interesting, and mildly uncomfortable twinges in that area lately...but I don't think I'm far enough along to have that particular symptom.  So anyone experienced this or know anything about it?

Re: Lightning Crotch
I had it during my pregnancy with DS. Didn't come until later... around the end of 2nd tri or later. Usually happened to me when I was walking. It literally felt like a jolt of lightening in my hoo-ha and would almost stop me in my tracks.

That's what I understood as "fire crotch." Lightning crotch doesn't burn, it stabs. It's like a uterine labor contraction pain wise but in your vag instead of your ute. I guess I'm not sure what causes it. I would certainly go without knowing if it meant going without having an episode...
I could be wrong, but I think that what PP who is referring to as "fire crotch" actually means "the ring of fire", which is the horrible painful burning feeling that happens when your baby crowns during delivery, and is different from "lightning crotch" which just happens during pregnancy.
Also, as for hoping you don't get it, to be honest, while it did definitely suck, there were definitely other pregnancy symptoms that were much worse than that... heck even all the bathroom breaks suck more than lightning crotch. It's not great, but it's not really anything to 'fear' IMHO.
